BetMGM goes live in Nevada

News

BetMGM, the sports betting brand operated by the Roar Digital joint venture between MGM Resorts and GVC Holdings, has gone live in Nevada.

The roll out of BetMGM in the state will include the launch of a mobile betting app, as well as the rebranding of MGM Resort’s sportsbook facilities and more than 100 gaming kiosks across MGM’s Las Vegas properties.

Consumers will be able to place a wide range of mobile and in-play wagers via BetMGM, including pre- and in-game bets, parlays and prop bets.

In addition, BetMGM will connect with MGM Resorts’ loyalty program M life Rewards, with customers able to earn points, benefits and rewards that can be used at MGM’s resorts.

“We’re proud to formally introduce the new BetMGM app in Nevada today; MGM Resorts’ iconic properties across Las Vegas and GVC’s technology combine to deliver a streamlined sports betting experience that’s easy to use and exciting to play, giving BetMGM a leading edge in the industry,” Road Digital chief executive Adam Greenblatt said.

MGM Resorts’ president of interactive gaming, Scott Butera, added: “MGM Resorts has emerged as a leader in sports betting, striking significant partnerships with professional sports leagues, expanding our market reach and harnessing best-in-class mobile technology from Roar Digital, powered by GVC.”

BetMGM is also live across New Jersey, West Virginia and Indiana, and looks set to move into the Michigan market when it opens for business later this week.
