BonusFinder receives Virginia affiliate license

News

Casino and sportsbook comparison site BonusFinder.com has been granted an affiliate license for the state of Virginia.

The approval adds to the affiliate’s existing US licenses in other states including New Jersey, West Virginia, Michigan and Illinois.

Virginia’s licensed sports betting providers include William Hill, FanDuel, Betfair, DraftKings, BetMGM, River Casino Portsmouth and Caesars Virginia.

A total of twelve licenses will be made available, plus a further five to be allocated to the state’s newly approved brick-and-mortar casinos.

BonusFinder’s managing director Fintan Costello said: “This increases BonusFinder.com’s reach into regulated US markets and we cannot wait to bring the best deals and bonuses for sports betting to players in Virginia.”

The affiliate received its igaming license in West Virginia in October last year after securing its sports betting license in May.

It subsequently received its affiliate license in Michigan in November, ahead of the launch of online sports betting and igaming in the state.

Virginia legalized sports betting in April last year, after House Bill 896, which set out plans to permit online and mobile sports betting, passed the House by a vote of 59-35 after also clearing the Senate on March 7 by a vote of 33-5.
