Design Works Gaming picks up Pennsylvania and Michigan licenses

News

Content developer Design Works Gaming (DWG) has secured licenses in Pennsylvania and Michigan as part of its ongoing US expansion strategy.

Issued in consecutive days by the Michigan Gaming Control Board and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, the new licenses will allow DWG to supply its content to licensed online operators in each state.

DMG, which also holds a New Jersey license, last month announced its entry into the North American market via an agreement with the SG Digital arm of Scientific Games.

This partnership is set to commence with a first-of-its-kind dual pilot launch in New Jersey with Golden Nugget and Resorts Casino.

“We’re serious about transforming online casino content in the US, and that means taking our games into all regulated jurisdictions across the country,” DWG chief exectuive Troy Zurawski said. “Michigan and Pennsylvania are new and exciting markets that are crying out for original, world-class content.

“Our proprietary RGS integrated with SG Digital affords us break-neck speed to market. We can’t wait to deliver our best-in-class content to the players of these great states.”
