DraftKings has announced a content distribution and sponsorship media agreement with Meadowlark Media in a continued effort to expand its sports entertainment reach.
As part of the deal, DraftKings and Meadowlark will distribute podcast “The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz” and the Le Batard and Friends Network across TV, audio and online. The show and the wider network will feature DraftKings’ odds, betting trends and sportsbook information.
DraftKings also has plans to develop new content in partnership with Meadowlark.
New formats of “The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz” will launch later this year. The show left ESPN radio in January and is ranked highly in the Apple sports program podcast chart.
“John Skipper and Dan Le Batard have established a deep roster of content creators that will continue to expand quality and original programming,” said Jason Robins, CEO, co-founder and chairman of DraftKings.
“Our relationship with Meadowlark Media demonstrates DraftKings’ dynamic approach in bringing premium content to skin-in-the-game sports fans through numerous channels.”
The news comes as DraftKings announced a partnership with streaming service Sling TV to launch sports betting information channel DraftKings Basketball, with more channels to follow.
Last month DraftKings acquired multi-platform broadcast channel Vegas Sports Information Network.
