Live dealer specialist Evolution Gaming has struck a strategic agreement with Golden Nugget that will see it expand the range of games provided to the US casino operator.
Golden Nugget was the first operator in New Jersey to launch live dealer games in 2016, in partnership with Ezugi, a supplier acquired by Evolution in November 2018.
Since then the operator has continued to offer games broadcast from a dedicated studio run by Ezugi, which also provides content to partners such as BetMGM, PartyCasino, Caesars and FanDuel.
Under the expanded agreement, it will now add Evolution’s portfolio of US live casino services to its offering. This will make game types such as Dream Catcher, Side Bet City and Top Card available on its New Jersey site, streamed live from its Atlantic City studio, or from Golden Nugget’s existing facilities.
Furthermore, clients of that studio will also have the option to access Evolution’s content through their existing partnership. While the agreement currently focuses on New Jersey, the only state in which Golden Nugget offers igaming currently, there is an option to expand into other markets as regulation permits.
“Our online players and those of our partners are very well served with our existing online live casino offering in terms of classic casino table games,” Golden Nugget senior vice president and general manager of online gaming Thomas Winter commented. “The agreement with Evolution will give our players and those of our operating partners access to more unique show-style games and other unique titles, enriching their live gaming experience.
“The new generation of Evolution live casino games will also help us serve a broader player demographics, including sports bettors,” he added. “This we believe, will allow us collectively to further increase the share of online casino revenue attributed to live games.”
Evolution’s chief commercial officer Sebastian Johannisson added that the supplier was “honored” to be working with Golden Nugget, saying that the partnership would further drive growth in live dealer in the US.
“This deal further consolidates our position in New Jersey while providing an additional strategic platform from which to introduce additional new games to the US, including titles that have already been very successful in the live casino space in Europe.”
