FanDuel migrates to Scientific Games’ OpenSports in four more states

News

FanDuel has migrated its sportsbooks to Scientific Games’ OpenSports platform in four more states.

OpenBet-powered FanDuel sportsbooks are now live in a total of ten states, after successful launches in Iowa, Virginia, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

The launches are the latest in the partnership between FanDuel and Scientific Games, as the former’s OpenSports-powered sportsbooks have launched across markets within the US – two of them launched in Illinois and Indiana back in April.

Scientific Games Digital chief executive Jordan Levin said: “We couldn’t be prouder to have OpenSports live across 10 states with one of the industry’s biggest names, FanDuel. It’s a real testament to our technology that FanDuel has entrusted us as a valued partner in multiple markets.

“Platform stability and scalability is of huge importance to the world’s biggest operators and OpenSports remains the only option in the marketplace to truly achieve this. We’re excited to embark on the next phase of our journey with FanDuel and deliver on our mission to deliver unmissable betting experiences.”

Scientific Games recently announced plans to divest its lottery and sports betting businesses, including OpenSports, citing the pursuit of sustainable growth as the reason why.
