Game Play Network and Range Media Partners create igaming joint venture

News

Game Play Network (GPN) has partnered with talent management business Range Media Partners to offer online gaming experiences to Range’s celebrity clients.

As part of the deal, Range – which connects celebrities and brands with technology offerings – will create new marketing strategies and further develop player experiences, based on GPN’s Gaming Platform technology.

The Platform allows companies to extend services through online and land-based avenues throughout the U.S, with social games and traditional slot games available 24/7.

“This groundbreaking announcement unites Range’s world class talent and brand expertise with GPN’s unparalleled technology and market access. As partners, we are distinctly situated to shape the future in social gaming entertainment,” said Pete Micelli, Range Media Partners CEO and co-founder.

Last month, World Poker Tour extended its services to real-money online gaming with a Game Play Network partnership.

“With the expansion of our management team, and on the heels of major traditional strategic iGaming partnership announcements, this blending of gambling revenue integrated into the marketing power of Range’s talent lineup is a game changer in both the entertainment industry and gaming industry,” said David Marshall, CEO of GPN.

Sam Kiki, chief commercial officer at GPN, added that offering its services to celebrities and brands is a reasonable next step in real money igaming.

“Individual talent connecting directly with consumers is quickly surpassing traditional means of media distribution.”

“Our vision to introduce games with real money gambling features, connected and super-charged by top talent, seems like a natural and exciting extension.”
