Gaming1 launches US joint venture with Delaware North

News

Belgian gaming and sports betting provider Gaming1 has entered a partnership with hospitality company Delaware North, in a deal that will see Gaming1’s platform and products distributed to licensed operators in North America.

Gaming1 will also supply its collection of proprietary game content through the deal.

The joint endeavor, Gamewise, will see Delaware North provide its mobile gaming brand Betly.com in markets where it already has land-based casino locations.

Delaware North has a number of regional casinos in the United States and Australia.

“We have been monitoring the situation in North America for some time, so it is an exciting moment for everyone at Gaming1 to partner with a company of the caliber and stature of Delaware North as we enter the North American market,” said Victor Araneda, chief business development officer at Gaming1.

“Our companies share a partnership philosophy rooted in a client-oriented approach based on a common understanding of the value of local brands and the bond between traditional operators and their customers.”

Gamewise aims to deliver full land-based integration and localized bet pricing through sports betting and casino games. It will be supported by Gaming1’s omnichannel technology solution and association model, which has been developed in regulated markets worldwide.

“Gamewise fills a gap in the North American gaming market by providing regional land-based operators with a true turnkey solution to expand into the burgeoning online sports betting and online gaming space,” said Luisa Woods, vice president of marketing for Delaware North’s gaming division.

“Both Gaming1 and Delaware North were looking for a suitable partner that matched our collective ambitions, values and vision for market expansion in North America. Partnership is deeply rooted in the DNA of both companies and we are delighted to come together.”
