High 5 Games appoints former Wynn executive Robert Gansmo as CFO

News

High 5 Games has named former Wynn Resorts Macau executive Robert Gansmo as its new chief financial officer.

Gansmo has joined the casino content developer following an 11-year spell in the same position at Wynn’s Macau operation.

During his tenure, Gansmo played a leading role in Wynn Macau’s initial public offering (IPO) on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and helped lead the company’s Macau operations through a period of substantial growth.

New York-headquartered High 5 said in a statement that Gansmo’s wealth of experience in financial management and casino resort operations was key to his appointment at a time when it is expanding its presence in North America and other markets.

Tony Singer, chief executive of High 5, said: “As we look to do some innovative things around the world, there’s no better CFO to help chart the right course than Robert Gansmo. His history of driving growth in existing markets and expanding into new ones is impressive. I’m looking forward to doing great things together.”

High 5 is active in the land-based, mobile, online, and social markets and has a portfolio that includes 500 games and its own full casino platform. It has licences in more than a dozen jurisdictions, including the UK, Malta and the US states of New Jersey and Michigan.

Gansmo said: “This is a time of great opportunity for High 5 Games. I’m truly excited to be joining such a creative company, having such a wonderful brand. I look forward to working together with Tony and the spirited team at High 5 as we pursue new markets and drive growth in our business.”
