International Game Technology (IGT) is to expand its presence in Colorado’s regulated sports betting market through a partnership with Ed & Shirley’s, operator of the Wild Card Saloon and Sasquatch Casino in Black Hawk.
Each venue will roll out the supplier’s PlaySports kiosks and deploy its betting platform and mobile solutions to offer a range of retail and online wagering options.
“Offering omni-channel sports betting via the IGT PlaySports solution will introduce an exciting new dimension of gaming to Wild Card Saloon and Sasquatch Casino that sports fans throughout Colorado are ready to embrace,” said Ed & Shirley’s president Ed Smith.
“We’ve leveraged IGT’s expertise and trusted technology to create a sports betting program that gives players choice and convenience for wagering on their favorite teams.”
IGT senior vice president for PlayDigital Enrico Drago said Colorado was emerging as “one of the most compelling sports betting markets in the US”.
“Wild Card Saloon and Sasquatch Casino will leverage the same, proven PlaySports platform and retail technology that is powering many of the most successful sportsbooks in the US, positioning them to provide outstanding user experiences that drive growth.”
The supplier is already live in the state, launching on May 1, the day the market opened for business, launching in partnership with Flutter Entertainment’s FanDuel.
The PlaySports suite of betting solutions is approved for operation in 13 states across the US.
