Jackpocket launches mobile lottery app in Oregon

News

Mobile lottery app Jackpocket has launched in Oregon, allowing consumers in the state to play lottery jackpot games from home.

Players can download the Jackpocket app to their mobile device to place ticket orders for games such as Powerball, Mega Millions, Pick 4 and Oregon’s Game Megabucks.

Users will also have access to additional features such as Jackpocket Pools, which allows them to create private lottery pools with friends, co-workers and family, or join the public pool with players in other states where Jackpocket operates.

Other features include autoplay, whereby the player can set the Jackpocket app to automatically enter lottery draws. Players can also set deposit limits, self-exclude and access problem gambling support resources via the app.

“We’re excited to offer Oregon’s first-ever mobile app for the lottery; by making playing the lottery more fun and convenient for new and long-time players alike, we can expand the reach of the Oregon State Lottery and support the critical state-wide programs it benefits,” Jackpocket chief executive Peter Sullivan said.

Aside from Oregon, Jackpocket is also operational in Colorado, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Minnesota, Texas and Washington, D.C.
