KamaGames and Hard Rock launch social casino app

News

Social gaming operator KamaGames has linked up with Hard Rock International to launch a new social casino mobile application.

Hard Rock Blackjack features a range of free-to-play casino games from KamaGames’ portfolio, including roulette, craps, baccarat, blackjack and slots.

The new app also offers a social poker game based on the developer’s Pokerist Texas Poker title, as well as Texas Hold’em Poker and a number of other poker-based titles such as Set Poker and Split Bet Poker.

Players will have access to competitive poker tournaments including Sit’n’Go, Shootout, multi-table tournaments and weekly tournaments, in addition to unique party modes and poker game variations.

Other features include chat options such as in-game instant messenger, animated emojis and the ability to send gifts to other players using the app, which will be made available in a total of 28 languages.

“Hard Rock has seen positive results leveraging free-to-play mobile games to extend the legendary experience guests have come to expect from the 262 Hard Rock ensues around the world into a digital format to both deepen relationships and drive incremental brand engagement both online and at our real-world venues,” Hard Rock’s senior vice president of online gaming and sports betting Kresimir Spajic said.

“Partnering with KamaGames and their industry-leading technology in the social casino space gives us the opportunity to amplify the reach of our social casino portfolio with best-in-class casino gameplay and global availability.”

KamaGames chief executive Andrey Kuznetsov added: “For KamaGames, this partnership holds an unparalleled opportunity for growth. Using our expertise, which has been honed over many years in the social casino industry, we are confident that we have created a product that will offer true entertainment value for Hard Rock International customers.

“KamaGames is very proud of the product we’ve brought to the market with Pokerist Texas Poker and are happy to share this technology with Hard Rock to provide their loyal customers with a high-quality product which will give them even more opportunities to interact and engage with Hard Rocks iconic, globally recognised brand, leading to a continued positive relationship and greater brand loyalty.”

Last month, KamaGames reported an 18.3% year-on-year increase in revenue to $90.4m (£77.5m/$83.5m) in the year to 31 December 2019, marking its fourth consecutive year of growth.

This came after KamaGames in January expanded its standalone video poker app with the addition of a number of new games and updates, having launched the app in July last year. KamaGames also added social sports betting to the app in September last year.
