Kambi agrees sports betting partnership with Island Luck

News

Kambi has entered a multi-year partnership with Bahamas-based operator Island Luck, which will see Kambi become the brand’s official online sports betting partner.

This is the most recent of Kambi’s Americas partnerships, following deals in Argentina and Peru, and will see Island Luck integrate Kambi’s sports betting services into its own sportsbook.

Island Luck, which was established in 2009, is currently one of the leading gaming operators in the Bahamas.

“We are delighted to have finalized this agreement with Island Luck, extending Kambi’s presence in the Americas and further strengthening our global network,” said Kristian Nylén, CEO and co-founder of Kambi.

“As a local market leader in The Bahamas, Island Luck is a perfect fit for Kambi and we look forward to working closely with their team to deliver an industry-leading sports betting experience to its players.”

Sebas Bastian, CEO of Island Luck, added: “Our sports product is a significant, strategic and important vertical for our group and after considerable research, it was evident that a strategic partnership with Kambi, a global leader in the sportsbook space, was the right decision for us.

“We are extremely happy to partner with Kambi to provide our customers with a superior sports betting experience and to provide us with cutting-edge risk management tools.”

Kambi has also recently launched its sportsbook in several U.S states, and has made several recent moves to finalize a betting deal with Mohegan ahead of the incoming sport betting regulation in Connecticut.

Today, the New York State Gaming Commission revealed that Kambi, among other operators such as FanDuel and Bet365, submitted a proposal for a mobile betting license in the state.
