MGM Resorts and BetMGM have become official partners of the American Gaming Association’s (AGA) Have A Game Plan” responsible gambling campaign.
The “Have A Game Plan” mission has been set up by the trade body to promote responsible sports wagering to new consumers and seasoned bettors. The partnership with MGM Resorts and its BetMGM joint venture, which is part-owned by Entain, has been announced during the AGA’s Responsible Gaming Education Week (RGEW).
MGM Resorts and BetMGM have been sharing responsible gaming tips and information via their social media channels throughout RGEW, and have vowed to do the same throughout the year. MGM Resorts also highlighted its GameSense program, which is focused on positive, transparent and proactive conversations with players about how to gamble responsibly.
Garrett Farnes, responsible gaming compliance manager at MGM Resorts, said: “This partnership complements our ongoing commitment to GameSense. GameSense has been an instrumental part of the MGM Resorts guest service model since 2017, helping customers understand the risks, where to get help and ultimately, how to keep gaming fun.”
Richard Taylor, BetMGM’s responsible gambling program manager, said: “We are proud to become a partner of such an important initiative for the industry. Through GameSense, we are committed to doing our part in creating a fun and safe experience for customers.”
