Micro-betting specialist Simplebet joins IBIA

News

Simplebet has become the latest business to join the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA).

The US-based micro-betting specialist, which provides B2B services across the North American market, joins more than 40 companies and over 100 sports betting brands in the global trade group.

Simplebet, which offers its products across all the major US sports, enables sports betting operators and media and technology businesses to enhance live sports by offering real-time experiences with its proprietary automated operations platform.

The supplier recently partnered with leading US operator Caesars Entertainment.

“Integrity and trust are non-negotiable at Simplebet, so we are excited to be partnering with the IBIA, who are the world’s leading independent integrity monitor,” said Melissa Davis, executive vice-president of business affairs of Simplebet. “Pooling our resources will help maintain fair play in sport, negate corruption in sports betting, and ensure our partners and their customers can enjoy peace of mind when it comes to wagering.”

IBIA’s network accounts for over $137bn (£113bn/€128bn) in global betting handle each year. It represents the sector at high-level betting integrity policy discussion forums managed by the IOC, UN, Council of Europe and European Commission.

It seeks to protect its members from corruption through collective action, while its monitoring and alert network detects and reports suspicious activity.

“I am very pleased to welcome Simplebet to IBIA; its membership highlights the operator’s commitment to protecting the integrity of betting and related sporting events,” said Khalid Ali, chief executive of IBIA. “Simplebet brings a distinctive approach and product range that marries well with our existing members and continues IBIA’s expansion across the growing U.S. regulated sports betting market.”

“The association looks forward to working closely with Simplebet to ensure the integrity of its products and services.”
