Players wagered $36.2m on online sports betting in Oregon in March, while gross gaming revenue (GGR) hit $3.6m.
Wagering fell 7.5% month-on-month, while GGR declined by 8.5%.
DraftKings, which has a state-wide partnership with the Oregon Lottery, saw the most amount wagered during the month, at $36.1m. This was a fall of 7.6% from February.
The Oregon Lottery’s Scoreboard online sportsbook – which has been phased out to be replaced by DraftKings but still pays out on bets placed before this phaseout – saw $24,836 wagered. This was significantly less than the previous month, wherein the sportsbook generated $273,328, as the migration continues.
DraftKings generated $3.6m in GGR, up by 8.1% monthly. Scoreboard made up the remaining $5,295 in GGR, which was $13,480 more than in February.
Basketball was the most popular sport wagered on in March through DraftKings, totaling at $23.1m. Ice hockey was the second most wagered-on sport, coming to $3.7m, followed by soccer, at $3.2m.
Basketball was also the sports that generated the most GGR via DraftKings throughout the month. It totaled at $2.2m. Other sports saw the second most GGR, at $458,835 in total, while ice hockey was the third most successful at $407,681.
