News

Playtech has signed a new deal with Kindred brand Unibet that will see its casino software appear on Unibet’s site in a number of US states, starting with New Jersey.

Playtech – which is already live in New Jersey through agreements with Bet365 and BetMGM – said the move will help continue its expansion across the US market.

Shimon Akad, Playtech Chief Operating Officer, said Playtech had sought to partner with market leaders within New Jersey.

“We are delighted to announce this exciting step in Playtech’s US growth,” Akad said. “Unibet delivers a fantastic entertainment experience to its US customers, and we are proud to partner with them to deliver Playtech’s casino software as part of their market leading offering – starting in New Jersey.

“Playtech continues to partner with the leading operators in New Jersey to bring its industry leading Casino software to the U.S. market and we look forward to continuing to expand into new states.”

Playtech has also launched its igaming offering in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Indiana through a partnership with Parx Interactive. While Playtech and Unibet did not mention the additional states in which Playtech might launch with this new deal, Unibet is also live in Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Virginia.

Manuel Stan, SVP Kindred Group US, said he was excited to launch the collaboration in more states.

“To add Playtech Casino software to our portfolio in New Jersey is very exciting,” he said. “Partnering with Playtech enables us to offer our online casino customers a selection of some of the best quality content, and we look forward to further collaboration with Playtech across more US states in the future.”
