PrizePicks scores fantasy sports deal with Nascar

News

North America-facing fantasy sports operator PrizePicks has agreed a new partnership with Nascar to become an official fantasy sports partner.

Under the multi-year deal, which marks PrizePicks’ first agreement with a major US sports competition, the operator will serve as a partner of the series from the 2023 season.

PrizePicks will have a VIP presence at a number of marquee events throughout 2023, during which Nascar will celebrate its 75th anniversary, starting with the Nascar Cup Series Geico 500 at Talladega Superspeedway this weekend.

The deal comes after PrizePicks also recently secured similar partnerships with Major League Soccer’s Atlanta United and Major League Baseball’s Atlanta Braves.

“We’ve always taken great pride in the fact that a great deal of our marketing and partnerships remain true to our southern roots,” PrizePicks co-founder and chief executive Adam Wexler said.

“Working with Nascar is the best of all worlds, an organization based in the South with a national footprint that is consistently growing on our platform.”

Nascar managing director for sports betting, Joe Solosky, added: “PrizePicks has consistently shown itself to be a fantasy platform with a loyal fanbase and wide variety of sports offerings. This partnership is an opportunity for both organizations to expand and increase engagement with new and existing fans.”
