Rush Street launches second PA sportsbook app

News | Uncategorised

Rush Street Interactive begun the final launch process for its second online and mobile sportsbook in the Pennsylvania market.

The BetRivers.com app has been launched under Rivers Casino Pittsburgh’s license, and begins a three-day operational test from 4PM today (June 25). Provided this is completed, the operator should be granted final approval from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board from June 28.

“This summer marks Rivers Casino Pittsburgh’s tenth anniversary,” said the venue’s general manager, Bill Keena. “We’re celebrating one decade while planning ahead for the next.

“Full-service online, mobile and in-casino sportsbooks are where the industry is headed, and thanks to our team members, we’re already there.”

The offering will initially launch for laptop, desktop and Android devices, with a product for use on Apple technology such as iPhones and iPads “available soon”, according to the operator.

“It’s an exciting time for Pennsylvania sports fans,” Rush Street Interactive president Richard Schwartz said.

“With NFL preseason just a month away, game days this fall will be next-level.”

BetRivers.com becomes the third mobile sportsbook to launch in Pennsylvania, beginning its operational test just a day after Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment’s Parx Casino.

Rush Street’s PlaySugarHouse.com launched sports betting on May 28, with players wagering $573,163 via the app over four days. All three products are powered by Kambi’s sports betting technology.
