Sports IQ scores US sports betting deal with Sporting Solutions

News

Betting technology supplier Sports IQ has agreed a deal to become the exclusive provider of US sports player-props markets to sportsbook and lottery supplier Sporting Solutions.

Under the multi-year agreement, Sports IQ’s player-props markets will be made available for use by Sporting Solutions’ portfolio of B2B and B2C sports betting partners.

The products will cover pre-game and live betting on major sports events and competitions in the US including the National Football League, Major League Baseball, National Hockey League and the National Basketball Association.

Sporting Solutions, part of the FDJ group, works with sportsbooks in the UK and European markets, and has recently made progress in North America, agreeing deals in Canada with both Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) and Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC).

“This partnership will accelerate our strategy to provide the North American market with our market leading expertise in trading and risk management services, in addition to us building upon our recent successful managed service integrations with Ontario and Alberta,” Sporting Solutions chief executive Andy Wright said.

Sports IQ chief executive Omer Dor added: “We’re delighted to attach our names to theirs and power their continued growth with innovative product lines. With the recent announcements of the OLG and AGLC as clients of Sporting Solution, it’s particularly exciting for us to be able to support operators in our very own back yard here in Canada.”

The deal comes on the back of a number of recent agreements for Sports IQ, including with IGT, Betway and BetClic, while the business also raised $7m in seed funding.
