WynnBet adds Paysafe payments and affiliate services

News

WynnBet, the US-facing sports betting platform, has partnered with Paysafe and its Income Access subsidiary for payments and marketing services.

The mobile sportsbook from Wynn Interactive, a division of Wynn Resorts, has connected to Paysafe for online payment services for its operations in Colorado, Indiana, New Jersey, and Virginia.

WynnBet will also seek to boost player acquisition by launching an affiliate program powered by the software platform of Paysafe’s Income Access. The subsidiary’s in-house affiliate marketing team will provide strategic guidance and use the Income Access Network to nurture affiliate relationships, grow the program and optimize player acquisition overall.

The WynnBet affiliate program, which will target players in Colorado, Michigan, New Jersey, and Virginia, will debut in H2 2021.

Gregory Kirstein, Paysafe’s vice president for business development for iGaming, said: “We’re thrilled to partner with WynnBet and have the opportunity to support the long-term acquisition and retention strategy of such a prominent brand.

“The combination of our payment processing and affiliate marketing solutions will help to drive growth as WynnBet continues to expand its presence across the regulated US online gaming space.”

Meanwhile, WynnBet has also signed up former NFL stars Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson and Nick Mangold as well as soccer star Tim Howard as brand ambassadors.

Through the partnerships, the trio will appear in WynnBet advertising, attend in-person events and promote the WynnBet app in addition to interacting as guests at the Blue Wire Podcast Studio at Wynn Las Vegas.

Johnson, who has more than five million social media followers, played 11 professional football seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals and New England Patriots. Howard played in two FIFA World Cups for the US national team and almost 500 combined matches for English Premier League teams Manchester United and Everton. Mangold was a seven-time Pro Bowl offensive lineman during his 11-year professional football career with the Jets.

Johnson said: “This is all about connecting directly with sports betting fans to provide great entertainment and conversation through social media and in-person events.”
