WynnBet secures market access in Ohio

News

WynnBet, the online gambling division of casino operator Wynn Resorts, has secured market access in the state of Ohio.

The approval, which is subject to license eligibility and availability, legalization and regulatory clearance, extends WynnBet’s market access to a total of eight states across the US.

WynnBet did not disclose further details of the arrangement in Ohio.

The operator is already active in New Jersey and Colorado, while it will also soon launch in Michigan, having secured approval from the Michigan Gaming Control Board earlier this week.

Michigan is due to open its regulated online gambling market today (January 22).

WynnBet has also secured market access in Indiana Massachusetts, Nevada and, this week, Iowa. The operator has also submitted for licensure in Tennessee and Virginia.

“To meet the demands of the quickly moving online sports betting and iGaming industry, WynnBet is fast-tracking discussions regarding market access in more than a dozen other large jurisdictions to be announced,” WynnBet said.
