Betgenius appoints Perform’s Anderson as VP for Americas

News

Sportsbook supplier Betgenius, a subsidiary of Genius Sports, has appointed Bill Anderson as vice president for the Americas.

Anderson will lead the supplier’s expansion efforts in both the US and Latin America.

“I couldn’t be more excited about joining Betgenius at this vibrant time in its global growth,” Anderson said.

“As regulation rapidly evolves and markets mature throughout the Americas, our premium quality and highly customizable sportsbook management and best-in-class live wagering services will become increasingly desirable for ambitious operators.”

Anderson previously led the Perform Group’s US betting business after joining in October 2018. Before joining the sports data specialist, which has since been acquired by Stats, Anderson served as vice president of business development at technology & services company TrafficGeneration and as director of sales at GAN.

Eric Stevens, global sales director at Betgenius, said this experience would help Anderson succeed in the new role.

“Bill is an accomplished gaming executive with a deep understanding of the betting and media ecosystems in the Americas,” Stevens said.

“We continue to invest in new products and services to meet the demands of operators throughout the region, including our renowned live wagering services powered by fast and reliable data, and Bill’s expertise will be invaluable in shaping and deploying this ambitious growth strategy.”

BetGenius currently powers Resort World Catskills’s sportsbook in New York, in partnership with IGT.
