Caesars and Genius Sports sign data and fan engagement deal

News

Caesars Entertainment has signed a multi-year agreement with Genius Sports, through which it gains access to the sports betting supplier’s portfolio of official live data feeds and content.

The deal covers sports leagues such as the National Football League, Nascar and the English Premier League, and also sees Caesars’ properties, sportsbooks and digital brands gain access to content such as customer acquisition tools and fan engagement solutions.

Genius data feeds will support Caesars’ trading and sportsbook platform by providing access to official NFL products, including official live sports data feeds.

In addition, Genius will become a programmatic advertising partner to Caesars, and supply its marketing technology to drive customer acquisition, engagement and retention for Caesars’ digital sportsbook and casino products.

Having been selected as one of the NFL’s official sports betting partners in April this year, Caesars’ new partnership with Genius will further the operator’s official NFL-backed sportsbook offerings, by incorporating official NFL data and next generation statistics, Genius said.

In addition to the NFL content Caesars will gain access to, it will also benefit from official data-powered in-play content from other sports leagues including Nascar, the English Premier League, Argentinian and Colombian soccer as well as Mexico’s Liga MX.

“True to the Caesars experience, it’s our goal to treat our sports bettors like royalty,” said Kenneth Fuchs, head of sports at Caesars Entertainment.

“We know how exciting NFL betting is for our players and through our partnership with Genius, we can now provide bettors with the live NFL data they need to make wagers like a true Caesar. We look forward to improving our NFL sportsbook offerings through this partnership by giving customers a more engaging and exciting way to play.”

Marck Locke, chief executive of Genius Sports, added: “Acquiring and retaining fans now requires a broader suite of innovative and interactive engagement tools than ever before.

“We are thrilled that Caesars Entertainment has recognized our investment in official sports data as it fuels the next generation of fan experiences.”
