Caesars and Unibet score new NFL partnerships

Caesars Entertainment has entered into a partnership with National Football League (NFL) team the Houston Texans, while Kindred Group-owned Unibet has linked up with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The agreement between Caesars and the Texans will see the operator become the official casino partner of the franchise from the 2021 season, which kicks off on September 9.

The deal will focus around the Caesars Rewards customer loyalty program, with this to be integrated into the team’s promotional channels including in-stadium signage and digital and traditional media assets.

Caesars Rewards will also sponsor the free-to-play ‘Schedule Pick ‘Em’ game, whereby fans can submit their matchup predictions for a chance to win prizes such as a paid trip to a Caesars property and game tickets.

In addition, at each home game, one Texans season ticket holder will be selected for a chance to win an all-inclusive trip to Las Vegas. Nevada.

Texans president Greg Grissom added: “I’m thrilled to launch this multi-year partnership with Caesars Entertainment. It aligns perfectly with our commitment to creating memorable experiences for our fans.”

Meanwhile, Unibet has expanded its presence in the NFL by linking up with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The partnership will include digital collaboration across social media channels, sweepstakes for fans to enter and projects to support the local community.

Fans will also have the opportunity to engage with Steelers Legends in game days at a new ‘Unibet Tailgate’ zone outside the team’s Heinz Field stadium.

In addition, Unibet will work with the Steelers to develop a new Steelers-themed, casino game to the consumers. This will be available exclusively on the Unibet PA casino app later this year.

Steelers’ vice president of sale and marketing, Ryan Huzjak, added: “This partnership will provide brand new opportunities for Steelers Nation, both on gamedays at Heinz Field and throughout the season. We are looking forward to bringing these enhancements to our fans.”

The deal is Unibet’s second partnership with an NFL franchise in Pennsylvania, with the operator already working with the Philadelphia Eagles.
