FanDuel teams up with Evolution for live casino offering

News

FanDuel has selected live dealer giant Evolution to provide its live casino offering in the US.

The deal will allow FanDuel to offer live casino for the first time in Pennsylvania.

Meanwhile, Evolution games will be added to FanDuel’s live offering in New Jersey, where it already offers games from Ezugi, a supplier acquired by Evolution in 2018.

Evolution will provide games from its Pennsylvania studio to FanDuel customers in states where it offers online casino games.

“We’re really excited to offer our loyal customers more live casino games,” FanDuel’s general manager for casino Jesse Chemtob said.” We see live casino as a key driver for continued online casino market growth in the US and FanDuel will now have access to Evolution’s entire live casino portfolio.”

Johan Nordstrom, chief executive officer for Evolution Malta and chief commercial officer at Evolution, added he was pleased to add another Flutter Entertainment brand to its client roster.

“Late last year we signed a landmark deal with Flutter Entertainment brands Paddy Power and Betfair,” he said.

“Now we are delighted to be working with another Flutter brand, FanDuel, in the fast-growing US market.”

Evolution has already partnered with rival US betting brand DraftKings in Pennsylvania as well as BetMGM and PointsBet.

Last month, Evolution announced that “exceptionally high” activity levels in the third quarter of 2020 led to revenue of €140.2m (£126.6m/$166.3m), up 47.8% from €94.7m in the third quarter of 2019.

The supplier is set to acquire slot developer NetEnt in a deal worth a deal worth SEK19.6bn. Last month, chief executive Martin Carlesund said Evolution hopes to close the deal before the end of 2020.
