PointsBet partners Evolution for US live casino launch

News

Online gambling operator PointsBet has selected Evolution Gaming to provide live dealer games as it builds out its online casino offering.

Under the deal, PointsBet will launch Evolution’s classic table games, online poker variants and branded content based on gameshow as part of its New Jersey-facing online casino offering.

Earlier this month, PointsBet announced it was to enter New Jersey’s igaming market via a ‘primary skin’ agreement with Twin River Worldwide Holdings. PointsBet plans to launch an online gambling and casino platform in the state.

PointsBet is also operational in the states of Indiana and Iowa, both of which are restricted to retail and online sports betting.

“We are thrilled to partner with Evolution to launch live casino technology in US jurisdictions, where we plan to offer our proprietary online casino platform,” PointsBet chief information officer Seth Young said. “The addition of Evolution live casino extends the appeal of PointsBet’s premium product in the rapidly growing US market.”

Evolution’s chief commercial officer Sebastian Johannisson added: “Evolution’s live casino portfolio offers PointsBet a rich mix of world-leading online live casino games including classic table games, online Poker variants that are big favourites with US players, and our new generation of award-winning, record-breaking game show games.

“In addition, PointsBet will have the option of exclusively branded dedicated tables and environments, should they require these.”

PointsBet this month also entered into a partnership with Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE), owner of several major sports properties in Colorado.

Kroenke owns National Hockey League (NHL) team the Colorado Avalanche, the National Basketball Association (NBA)’s Denver Nuggets, the National Lacrosse League (NLL)’s Colorado Mammoth and the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer (MLS).

PointsBet now serves as the official exclusive gaming partner of the Avalanche, Nuggets and Mammoth, as well as the teams’ Pepsi Center home arena.
