Leadstar Media approved to launch in New Jersey


Affiliate services provider Leadstar Media has secured approval from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement to commence operations in the state.

Leadstar will use its new license to initially launch two of its primary products in New Jersey, in the form of and reviews and compares sportsbooks for sports bettors, while focuses on US online gambling as a whole, catering for both casino players and sports punters.

Leadstar’s chief executive Eskil Kvarnström said the New Jersey market entry will support the provider’s goal of becoming one of the main igaming affiliates in the US, with license applications having also been put forward in Pennsylvania and Indiana.

“New Jersey allows players to create an account and place bets online from anywhere within state lines, which is essential for our business model to be successful,” Kvarnström said. “This makes New Jersey a key market for us compared to Iowa or Rhode Island, where in-person registration hinders market growth.
