New Jersey iGaming Dashboard – August 2021

New Jersey again recorded its highest ever igaming revenue in July 2021, as operators in the state took in $118.7m.

iGaming Business and Ficom Leisure are pleased to present the New Jersey iGaming Dashboard, providing revenue and product metrics on the state’s regulated market.

This overtook the previous record, $113.7m, set in March.

Meanwhile, sports betting revenue was up 86.0% year-on-year to $55.0m, while the amount wagered by consumers also climbed 83.7% to $578.7m. However, this handle figure was the lowest for the year so far.

The Borgata again ranked first in the igaming market with $36.5m in revenue for the month, ahead of Golden Nugget Online Gaming on $33.5m and Resorts Digital with $23.3m.

 Online remained the main method of betting in the state, with the $529.4m wagered online some way ahead of the $49.3m spent at retail sportsbooks during the month.

For the year to date, total market revenue in the seven months to the end of July amounted to $2.56bn, up 98.4% in the same point last year. Sports betting revenue was 205.7% higher at $423.3m, igaming revenue increased 47.6% to $752.9m and land-based casino revenue hiked 115.7% to $1.39bn.
