New Jersey iGaming Dashboard: December 2021

New Jersey reported gross gaming revenue (GGR) figures of $404.1m (£299.1m/€358.2m) for December 2021, a 29.1% increase on the same period the year prior.

Retail casino revenue grew 44.0% to $211.8m, while online casino GGR experienced a 33.9% increase compared to December 2020.

Sports betting revenue however suffered an 11.1% decrease compared to the same period last year, and a sharp 48.6% decline in relation to November.

The FanDuel and PointsBet-affiliated Meadowlands Racetrack maintained its dominant market share in terms of sports betting, with GGR of $30.0m and a 50.8% share of the market.

Resorts Digital was second with $12.4m, while Freehold Raceway, which partered with operator PlayUp for sports betting in early 2021, entered the top four as it had a 5.8% market share with GGR of $3.4m.
