Philadelphia Eagles sign Fox Bet sponsorship deal

News

The NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles have signed a new multi-year partnership with Flutter brand Fox Bet, who will launch a new studio at the team’s home stadium, Lincoln Financial Field.

The deal will include broadcast, digital and social media advertising on team channels, custom promotions and a “strong branding presence on game days”. In addition, Fox Bet messages will feature prominently on scoreboards at the stadium.

The operator has also constructed a studio from which it will create new Eagles-themed content featuring prominent on-air personalities from Fox Sports and former Eagles players.

“This new, fully integrated partnership with Fox Bet has enabled us to reimagine the way we deliver content to our fans in a fun and innovative way,” Catherine Carlson, senior vice president of revenue and strategy for the Philadelphia Eagles, said.

“Every week during the NFL season, this new interactive studio will bring Eagles fans closer to the game through exclusive access and interviews, football commentary from some of the biggest on-air Fox Sports personalities, and many other surprises along the way.

“We look forward to growing our partnership with Fox Bet, an industry leader that continues to expand its footprint in the Philadelphia market.”

Fox Bet will also sponsor the weekly Eagles Edge program and the Eagles Tailgate Crew podcast. In addition, it will launch a new premium lounge at the stadium which will include wall-to-wall TV monitors and can hold up to 380 fans.

Andrew Schneider, chief marketing officer of FOX Bet, said the Eagles’ fanbase was a major reason why the operator wanted to agree the deal.

“Fox Bet enhances the fan experience in a big way, and this is a fanbase that knows and appreciates big things,” Schneider said. “They’re passionate, tough and willing to do whatever it takes to win.

“To connect our offering to this one-of-a-kind fanbase is a game-changer. Eagles fans are going to love this, and we’re honored to have this association with a team that is primed for a successful 2020 season.”

In November 2019, the Eagles signed a multi-year casino partnership with Kindred brand Unibet.

Today (September 16), Eagles rival the New York Giants also signed a betting partner of their own in DraftKings.
