Sportradar has signed an extension to its long-term partnership with Caesars Sportsbook, the sports wagering platform for Caesars Entertainment.

Under the deal, Sportradar will provides Caesars Sportsbook with official betting data from a number of major leagues. These include the National Basketball Association, Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League.

For the first time, Caesars Sportsbook will have access to certain NBA optical tracking data. This enables Caesars to create new props and support additional growth of same-game parlays.

In addition, Sportradar will continue to provide Caesars with a suite of betting products and betting entertainment tools. These include pre-match data, content solutions, live match trackers and live data.

“We’re always looking at ways to bring a best-in-class experience to our customers,” Caesars Digital chief operating officer and head of sports, Kenneth Fuchs, said. “Our partnership with Sportradar will provide us new and valuable data to further expand our unique offerings.”

Sportradar’s chief commercial officer Ed Blonk added: “As in-play betting increases in prominence in the US, the fast, accurate and reliable data that Sportradar curates will play a critical role in contributing to Caesars’ efforts to maximize revenue opportunities.

“We look forward to working closely with Caesars to help them deliver engaging experiences for customers while we monetize our league partnerships.”

Puerto Rico expansion

The extension comes after Caesars last week became the latest operator to launch online sports betting in the US territory of Puerto Rico.

Consumers in Puerto Rico can place bets on the Caesars Sportsbook mobile betting app or accompanying website.

Online betting will initially only be available to citizens of Puerto Rico. Non-residents visiting Puerto Rico will have the ability to register for the app later this summer.

Sportradar has also been active in Puerto Rico, partnering with new, local operator Ballers Sportsbook to launch in the market.
