theScore Bet goes live in Indiana

News

Score Media and Gaming has launched its sportsbook in Indiana, the third state in which customers can wager via theScore Bet.

The launch follows the brand’s roll-out in Colorado earlier this month, with theScore Bet also live in New Jersey since September 2019.

The operator gained access to Indiana through an agreement with Penn National Gaming, struck in August last year. This deal also potentially gives the brand access to Louisiana, Mississippi, Iowa, Missouri, Ohio. Texas, Kansas, Michigan, Maine and Massachusetts as well as Indiana.

“This launch comes just weeks after we introduced theScore Bet to fans in Colorado, a huge testament to the best-in-class technology, multi-state infrastructure, and product development team supporting our ongoing expansion,” theScore founder and chief executive John Levy said.

“Indiana is the first state we’ve launched in under our multi-state market access agreement with Penn National Gaming and we’re excited to showcase our incredible and unique combination of media and gaming to this passionate fan base.”

David Wang, chief executive of theScore’s sportsbook technology provider Bet.Works, hailed the launch as “another significant step forward” for the operator.
