Tipico brings in NetEnt to support New Jersey launch

News

German betting and gaming operator Tipico has entered into a new partnership with NetEnt, as it continues preparations for its launch in New Jersey.

Under the agreement, NetEnt will provide Tipico with a range of its online video slots and table games, with the content to go live as soon as the operator launches its platform in the state.

Tipico will also gain access NetEnt’s collection of marketing tools as part of the new agreement.

The operator is in the process of obtaining a licence in New Jersey to offer sports betting and online casino, having partnered with Atlantic City’s Ocean Casino Resort in the state.

“We are excited to begin our partnership with NetEnt as we kick-off our expansion into the US,” Tipico’ managing director US Adrian Vella said. “With a proven track record in the New Jersey market and their well-known catalogue of branded games, we’re confident that our customers will love NetEnt’s offering.”

NetEnt Americas’ vice president of commercial, Brian Kraft, added: “We are happy that Tipico has chosen NetEnt to be one of their first content providers as they begin their US journey. I’m looking forward to having our games in front of players and working with Tipico to grow their business in the US.”

The deal comes after Tipico last week selected Scientific Games’ OpenGaming product suite for its New Jersey-facing igaming offering. The supplier’s SG Digital division will provide Tipico with its Open Gaming System aggregation platform, giving it access to more than 2,000 proprietary and third party games.

Tipico has also set up a base in Hoboken, New Jersey, and announced that digital advertising specialist Digilant will devise its go-to-market launch strategy for the state.
