Tipico enters Colorado sports betting market

News

Sportsbook operator Tipico has announced that its mobile sportsbook app has gone live in Colorado after receiving a Colorado internet sports betting license.

The app launch was approved by the Colorado Division of Gaming eight months after it first went live in New Jersey.

The Colorado expansion was aided by casino entertainment company Century Casinos, with which Tipico has a strategic relationship.

The app went live yesterday (August 18) ahead of the beginning of the National Football League and National Colleague Athletic Association seasons.

“We are thrilled to announce Tipico’s continued growth within the United States,” said Adrian Vella, chief executive of Tipico.

“We look forward to continuing to grow our U.S. footprint with exciting announcements in the pipeline that will change the game for avid sports fans and bettors.”

Tipico is set to establish a presence in more states in the coming months.

“This is an exciting moment for Tipico as we continue to add exciting new features for U.S bettors,” added Vella.

“Captivating users and elevating their betting experience is at the core of Tipico’s development and growth plan, and we’re proud of the capabilities that our app and our proprietary technology stack offers.”

To mark the launch, Tipico is offering several promotions for its Colorado customers.

Sports betting first arrived in Colorado in May 2020. It was first legalized through a referendum in November 2019.
