Tipico launches sports betting app in New Jersey

News

German sports wagering operator Tipico has announced that its US business has launched a new sportsbook mobile application in the state of New Jersey.

Players in the state are now able to download the app and place bets on a wide range of sports and competitions from around the world.

Tipico will offer a number of sign-up bonuses and cash offers to new customers, as well as run a brand platform and advertising campaign with the Öpinionated agency to promote the new app.

The launch comes after Tipico in September secured approval from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) to roll out its sports betting offering in the state.

Tipico had already stated that it would use its own technology to power the new app.

“Tipico is a betting experience unlike any other, and we are confident that as we expand our reach in the US, users will love the new features we are regularly adding to the app,” Tipico US managing director Adrian Vella said.

“This is just the start, but we are proud to call New Jersey our home and it’s been great to see the positive response from sports bettors across the state.”

Tipico is also set to launch an igaming offering in New Jersey, and has selected Scientific Games’ OpenGaming product suite to power its igaming offering, as well as NetEnt to provide its range of online video slots and table games.
