William Hill rolls out online and mobile sportsbook in WV

News

Bookmaker William Hill US has announced the launch of its online and mobile sportsbook in the state of West Virginia.

Built on William Hill’s proprietary platform, the sportsbook website and app offer a range of markets and bet types across professional and collegiate sports.

The app also includes multiple deposit and withdrawal options, as well as live scoring game casts and a built-in registration process.

When registered, players can access the William Hill sportsbook mobile app from anywhere inside the state.

William Hill now offers mobile sports betting in four states, with its platform also active in Iowa, Nevada and New Jersey. The bookmaker also provides trading services for the Rhode Island Lottery’s mobile app.

The latest launch comes after William Hill this week also finalized its acquisition of sportsbook solutions provider CG Technology, after the deal was approved by Nevada regulators.

William Hill will now take charge of sports betting at four additional venues on the Las Vegas Strip, including sportsbook at The Venetian, The Palazzo, The Cosmopolitan and Silverton.

DraftKings and FanDuel also operate mobile sportsbooks in West Virginia, while BetMGM, the brand operated via the joint venture between GVC Holdings and MGM Resorts, also runs a sports betting app in the state.

The DraftKings sportsbook, run in partnership with Penn National Gaming, went live in August last year, as did FanDuel’s app, which operates through a deal with The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs.

BetMGM last week built on its sports betting presence in West Virginia by also launching its online casino platform in the state.
