Kindred’s Unibet scores betting partnership with NBA

News

Kindred Group has agreed a deal for its Unibet brand to become an authorized sports betting operator of North America’s National Basketball Association (NBA).

Unibet will gain access to official NBA betting data and league marks across its online and mobile platforms in the US throughout the league’s current season.

In addition, Unibet will work with the NBA on a number of initiatives focused on protecting the integrity of NBA games.

“We are very proud to team with the NBA; this will add further customer value to an already first-class betting experience thanks to official NBA betting data and league marks across our mobile and retail platforms,” senior vice president for Kindred US, Manuel Stan, said.

“Kindred shares the NBA’s view on a legal and sustainable sports betting market, which makes this partnership a perfect match.”

The NBA has deals in place with a number of sports betting operators, including the likes of William Hill, DraftKings, Tabcorp in Australia and ParionsSport, the sports wagering brand of French gaming operator La Française des Jeux (FDJ).

Last week, Kindred announced that it was extending the reach of Unibet in the US by rolling out both online and mobile sports betting and casino gambling in Pennsylvania, following an initial launch of land-based services in the state.

Unibet also operates online in New Jersey, through a partnership with Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.
