NetEnt grows Pennsylvania presence with Cordish launch

News

NetEnt has expanded its presence in the Pennsylvania market by rolling out its content with PlayLive!, the new online casino run by Cordish Gaming Group, the global gaming arm of real estate and entertainment business Cordish Company.

Under the agreement, PlayLive! customers will have access to NetEnt’s online casino and table games, including slot titles Starburst, Gonzo’s Quest and Divine Fortune.

Launched in August through a partnership with GAN, PlayLive! is Cordish’s first branded online gambling website to go live in Pennsylvania.

The website will run alongside Cordish’s two new land-based casino properties, which are due to open in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia later this year and early in 2021, respectively.

“As one of the first suppliers to go-live in Pennsylvania, NetEnt’s portfolio is must-have for any operator looking to compete in the online sector. Partnering with them was a priority for the launch of PlayLive!,” PlayLive! vice president of marketing Brian Uran said.

Brian Kraft, commercial vice president for the Americas at NetEnt, added: “PlayLive! will be a major contender in Pennsylvania’s online market and we’re proud to be supporting The Cordish Companies with this new venture.”

NetEnt launched in Pennsylvania in July of last year and counts DraftKings and tribal operator Wind Creek Casino among its clients in the state.

The supplier has also struck an agreement with Scientific Games, which will see its content made available through the OpenGaming content aggregator. The games are already available to OpenGaming clients in New Jersey, with Pennsylvania and Michigan the next states in which they are to be rolled out on the platform.
