SportsBetting.com goes live in Colorado

News

Online sportsbook operator SportsBetting.com, owned and operated by igaming start-up Carousel Group, has gone live in Colorado.

The operator took its first bet last Wednesday, September 16, which resulted in a winning ticket for the customer.

SportsBetting.com’s launch was accompanied by a number of promotions, including a week of risk-free betting during which the brand would refund all losing wagers up to $500.

As well as its welcome bonus, the operator is also offering promotions relating to the first touchdown scored of NFL and Broncos games, as well as triple-doubles from Nuggets, Lakers, Celtics and Heat players during the NBA playoffs.

The brand is live in the market through a partnership with Johnny Nolon’s Casino in Cripple Creek.

Carousel Group chief executive Daniel Graetzer said the business would look to offer the best odds and highest limits in the market, providing maximum value for customers.

“We are obsessed with user experience and developing great end-user products, so we will be unleashing some incredible features over the coming months,” he added. “There’s an insatiable appetite for sports betting in Colorado, and we couldn’t be more pleased that our maiden voyage to the US will be aboard the Centennial ship.”

SportsBetting.com aims to launch its mobile app for Android and iPhone as early as next week, although it is currently still in development.

Online sports betting went live in Colorado on May 1 2020, seeing brands such as DraftKings, BetMGM and Rush Street Interactive roll out their digital sportsbook offerings in the state.

More recently, in September well-known British brands William Hill and Betfred launched their own offerings locally, as well as US-based brand theScore.

Carousel Group, meanwhile, was established in 2018 and is in the process of launching the SportsBetting.com and RaceBook.com brands in multiple international markets.
